One of the most popular ways to install the New Forest electric fire with a TV recessed above the fire. This was a classic way to build a false chimney breast using a wooden frame and MDF boards to finish it off…oh, and what about the slate tiles!
Once the fire is placed in position the plans start to come together.
The wooden frame work is built around the fire. The blanking plates are added to the fire for the front facing design.
MDF boards are cut to size and screwed into the wooden frame.
Complete and looking stunning with slate tiles.
