The Hinton can be recessed or free standing. The heat comes out the bottom of the stove so you don't need to worry about clearances to the sides.

No, the Hinton is a electric so you just simply plug in the stove and away you go. No chimney, no flue, no vents.
The Hinton Electric Stove is made from cast iron which comes with a notable weight to it. We love this about the stove, a true reflection of the attention to design this just like a wood burning stove.
No problem, the Hinton Electric Stove has an 'effect only' setting. Simply turn off the heater and leave the flame effect setting.
