Designed in the New Forest. Handcrafted for realism
Real oak, real craft, real atmosphere. Inspired by the New Forest and handcrafted in Christchurch, our electric fires bring the warmth and character of a log fire to any room, without a chimney.
English Oak Logs
Inspired by nature
On England’s beautiful south coast lies the New Forest National Park – the inspiration behind our electric fireplaces.
Its rich and varied landscapes inspire the natural ambience at the heart of every British Fires design.
The New Forest Cube Stove
The latest addition to our range, the Cube Stove combines substantial 6mm steel construction with authentic flame visuals, creating a striking focal point that immediately commands attention.

Why choose an electric fire?
-
Install almost anywhere
No chimney, flue or gas supply is needed, so you can place your fire wherever it suits the room. That could be a media wall, an open-plan living space or a bedroom. Inset fires sit flush in the wall, and stoves and suites simply plug in.
-
Real warmth when you want it
Every British Fires electric fire has a built-in heater with up to 2kW of output, enough to warm a typical living room. The heat settings are ideal to take the chill off on a cool evening or keep the room cosy through winter.
-
Flames all year round
Switch the heater off and the flame effect keeps running on its own. That means you can enjoy the glow of a fire on a summer evening without heating the room. With the heater off, it costs very little to run.
-
No smoke, ash or fumes
There's no burning, so there's no smoke, soot, ash or fumes, and no chimney to sweep or logs to store. That makes it easy to live with around family and pets, and your walls and furnishings stay clean.
