Add shelving or cupboards to make your media wall practical, then finish the look with beautiful touches like wood grain textures or subtle LED lighting to create a space that’s both striking and inviting.

What size fire do you need?
The best advice we can give here is to start with the TV size you have, then understand if you would like the fire to be 1, 2 or 3 sided. You will then start to piece together the media wall. For example, our New Forest 1600 works great with a 55" or 65" TV, both two completely different looks.

Inspired by our roots in the New Forest, Hampshire, the Deluxe Real Log fuelbed uses real Oak Logs. Sourced from sustainable suppliers in Dorset, the Deluxe Real Logs bring a touch of nature to your home. These are standard on the Deluxe and Black Edition models.

Installation advice
We suggest having the fire on site before starting your installation. Part of the fire is hidden behind the wall and will need to be concealed.

Deluxe Log Layouts
The two options are the Camp Fire style for a more built up look, or the Scattered layout for a more earthy and random positioning of the logs.
All Deluxe Logs beds are fixed in place and laid by our log technicians.

A 30mm frame is available for front facing installations to give a nice edging border around the fire.

SCHOTT Anti-Reflective Glass
The anti-reflective glass is designed to reduce reflections on the front and side glass, by doing so you don't just get a super clear view of the logs, but the flame effect becomes more sharp and vibrant.

All Deluxe Log fuel beds are crafted using natural products and therefore some differences may occur between each fuel bed. We always aim to replicate the same layout for each bed but appreciate that the nature of the products being used may have a variance in the finer details.

Signature logs
When the New Forest Electric Fire first hit the market, we started with a convincing ceramic log set that is still revered today. The Signature Logs capture details found in natural logs. The Signature option comes with bark, husk and some slate for a earthy forest base for the logs.
The Signature options can be fully customised and laid out to your preference with the loose items, each one offers a completely different look. Everything comes in the box.
Deluxe Real Logs
Elevate the setting with Deluxe Real Logs and bring the charm of an authentic fireplace within view. Scorched and charred by hand then set solidly into place for an easy installation.
Each size and model has it’s own unique arrangement of the hand-charred logs. While each model has its unique style there will still be some minor variety in the logs themselves as they are, in fact, real logs responsibly sourced from within the United Kingdom.
We now offer two styles of layout, the Scattered logs and the Camp Fire.
Installation options:
Cornered Installation
Cornered is the option to have only one side covered up and installed into a corner section of a room where this style would suit. This can be done with either the left or right side of the fire to be covered—creating a dramatic room composition.
British Fires New Forest 1200 3 Sided Installation
3-Sided Installation
A three-sided install offers both the left and right hand sides open within a constructed chimney breast. This design offers a modern approach on a classic arrangement.
Front Facing
Fully Recessed creates a more prominent face-on view. Both sides can be covered by fully-recessing the fire into the chimney breast. This installation method adds perceived width to any room.
Mirror Glass
The mirrored glass creates a stunning illusion of true depth within the fire. Its two-way reflective properties beautifully enhance the log display, producing a captivating effect where the flames appear to dance through the logs themselves. This option comes as standard on all Signature and Deluxe models.
Dark Glass
Put the spotlight on the Deluxe Real Logs with Rear Dark Glass. A standard option with the Black Edition, the darkened rear glass adds a sleek, sophisticated edge to the fire, creating a striking contrast that lets the logs and flames take centre stage.
Upgrade with Anti-reflective glass
SCHOTT AR Glass
SCHOTT is a leading brand, recognised globally for its precision in glass engineering. All British Fires models are available with anti-reflective glass for a clear, crisp display. The AR glass is designed to reduce reflections on the front and side glass, by doing so you don't just get a super clear view of the logs, but the flame effect becomes more sharp and vibrant.
Standard front glass
The standard glass supplied is toughened for safety whilst maintaining a sleek visual appearance. The standard glass is supplied on all models with the option to upgrade to the SCHOTT AR Glass for a more immersive look to the fire, and just see what it does to the colours.
