Have you checked the troubleshooting?
Some issues can be easily resolved by following some of the advice in the troubleshooting section in the installation manual. Have a look at this, you can also view the manuals on the product pages.
No heat - Blue 88
The blue 88 code appearing in the top right hand corner of the fire indicates an issue with the heater. To help resolve this, turn the fire off at the main plug and leave for 5 minutes to reset. Whilst waiting, and the fire is turned off, try and clean the heater outlet for any dust or debris that could be on the heating element. If the blue 88 still occurs, contact our service team for further advice.
Remote not working
If you find the remote is not working with the fire, but you have a visual display. You may just need to pair the remote to the fire again. Follow the instruction in the installation manual to repair the remote.
No power / not turning on
If the fire will not turn on, you may have an issue with the power supply. Here are a few things to check
- Check the isolation switch is turned on
- Check the plug switch turned on
When you turn these switches on, the fire should make a beep. If this occurs, it means power is coming to the fire. At this point try repairing the handset to the fire.
